Brisbane Youth Service – Cambodia Cycle for Homeless Youth 2015 is an exciting opportunity to explore the fascinating country of Cambodia under your own pedal power within a like-minded group of people.

You’ll exert yourself physically by day and sleep comfortably in hotel accommodation by night, dining on local cuisine along the way. The trip also takes in tours of ancient temples such as Angkor Wat and a visit to floating villages on Tonle Sap Lake.

Most importantly, by taking on this cycle challenge, you’ll be raising money to help Brisbane Youth Service in making a real difference to the lives of homeless and disadvantaged young people in Brisbane, and their children.

The funds you raise will help us find housing for young people, provide them with access to free medical and psychological services, help with education and other support services.

Challenge yourself as you cycle through the Kulen Mountains (487m), Cambodia’s sacred mountain, the stunning countryside and the friendly villages of rural Cambodia

Gaze at the majestic spires of Angkor Wat and cycle to impressive temples hidden deep in the jungle

Dine on local cuisine with the community in a floating home in Kompong Phluk - an isolated community of three villages built on stilts

Best of all, visit the Green Gecko Project, help the local community and meet staff from Friends International NGO
