Adventure Summary
These treks may spend successive days at altitude and are usually between 10-15 days in duration.
You will need a good level of fitness.
Involves trekking on remote trails in variable weather conditions for up to eight hours a day.
This may include successive days at altitude not generally exceeding 5500m. You will need a high level
of fitness, be prepared to carry a daypack weighing up to 10kgs and as with all our adventures, be comfortable
about walking in adverse weather conditions.

Immerse yourself in one of the oldest, most beautiful and diverse
rainforests in the world and see why Borneo has captured the imagination of nature enthusiasts for centuries.Borneo is home to jungles teeming with wildlife, flowing rivers, and the incredible Mount Kinabalu and Mulu National Park, one of the region’s largest. Expect to see orangutans and the proboscis monkey, hundreds of varieties of birds, thousands of orchids and millions of bats flying overhead at dusk at the entrance of beautiful Deer Cave. Challenge yourself as you trek to the summit of Mount Kinabalu and the Pinnacles Trail, and experience traditional culture and hospitality in an overnight stay at an Iban longhouse. In bearing witness to the beauty of Borneo, you will gain a better sense of the tragedy of the deforestation that is occurring at a rapid rate in other parts of the region. The funds you raise will assist Greenpeace to take direct peaceful action to expose these and other global environmental problems.
