Beautiful and beguiling, complex and unsettling – Cambodia is these things and more. You’ll be confronted by the horrors of the not-so-distant past, and learn more about the human rights issues still facing Cambodians today and meet an amazing and resilient culture/people. You’ll uncover the ancient mysteries of the Khmer empire and watch the spires of Angkor Wat light up as the sun rises over the jungle. You’ll cycle country roads surrounded by emerald green rice paddies and swaying sugar palms and explore quaint colonial towns. Cambodia will tug at your heartstrings and get under your skin – the experience will stay with you forever. Most importantly, by joining this adventure you’ll be helping Amnesty International defend human rights abuses and fight injustice wherever and whenever it happens.
