Stunning snow-capped peaks, prayer flags flapping in the wind, alpine meadows dotted with flowers and rushing mountain streams … on the 13-day Journey for Genes you will experience all this and more. From the teeming streets of Delhi, we will travel north to the Himalayan foothills and the pretty town of Dharamsala, home in exile to the Dalai Lama. From here we embark on a 5-day trek to surrounding villages. You will walk among oak forests and rhododendron, and challenge yourself on narrow mountain paths as you gaze at snow-capped Himalayas in the distance. Your journey culminates with a visit to the Taj Mahal, an unforgettable sight.
India is a challenging but beautiful destination; the rewards are many. And of course, you’ll be helping to improve lives of future generations every step of the way, by funding the research of CMRI scientists.
