Cure Cancer Australia Foundation and Inspired Adventures have teamed up to bring you Swim for a Cure – a first for us and a must for ocean swimmers and adventurers looking for a challenge with a difference.
Challenge yourself on this unforgettable 13-day adventure to Turkey, swim from Europe to Asia in the iconic Hellespont Swimming Race, and help fund cancer research that can save millions of lives.

Departure date: 21st August 2012
Fundraising target: $8,500 ($3,035 per person will go directly to Cure Cancer Australia Foundation and $5,465 towards travel costs, not including airport taxes of approx. $735)
Duration: 13 days
Challenge duration: 7 days swimming
Challenge grading: 3.5/5 challenging (you can increase or decrease the intensity of the adventure by swimming minimum or maximum distances each day)
Accommodation: 2/3 star hotels
- Take part in the iconic Hellespont Swimming Race, in the historic waterway that separates Europe from Asia.
- Swim in the turquoise waters around the Lycian Way and discover the ruins of ancient cities that lie underwater.
- Pay your respects to our fallen soldiers as you experience first hand the battle sites and memorials at Gallipolli.
